  • Our History

St. Michael Catholic School opened in 1999 as a ministry of St. Michael Catholic Church in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, within the historic Diocese of Charleston.

Beginning with Kindergarten through Fourth Grade, the school expanded by adding one grade level each year. Today SMCS serves students from PreK3 through 8th Grade.
