Accreditation
All of South Carolina's 35 Diocesan Catholic schools have received a national accreditation for their commitment to continuous improvement. The Diocese of Charleston, which covers the entire state, received district accreditation from AdvancED.

The process involved three components:

1.) Meeting high quality standards
2.) Implementing a continous process of improvement
3.) Engaging in quality assurance through internal and external review

The Diocese's accreditation is for a five-year term with regular monitoring of its progress and reporting. Officials with the Diocese called the accreditation a "nationally recognized mark of quality."
